Our Daily Salad

This is just our simple base salad.  Nothing really to special but the little extras make all the difference.

Ingredients

Various Types of Lettuce
Kale
Arugula/Rocket
Olive Oil
Oregano
Salt
Black Pepper

Extras

Pumpkin Seeds
Sunflower Seeds
Cashew Nuts
Chili Pepper
Lemon Juice

 

Instructions

  1. Wash all the vegetables.
  2. Then chop the vegetables into bite size pieces.
  3. Throw it all into a big bowl and add salt, pepper, oregano and olive oil and mix.
  4. Use the salad for the next couple of days and customize it to your liking.
Extra:  Add a pinch of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashew nuts, and I cut up a red chili pepper. Finish with lemon juice and a bit more olive oil.
